Japanese anime has really come a long ways since I was growing up.
It’s also very possible that the genre itself is the same, but now I simply know where to find the good stuff.
YouTube has been a big help in keeping it cost effective, and easy, to find stuff that’s not readily available here in the States.
D-Gray Man is one I’ve been watching via YouTube; I’m currently watching Episode #44.
It’s well-drawn, funny, but also a serious work about the pain of death, and the means we take to hold onto those we love.
If you like anime, I would recommend it.
